B.J. Tindall

B.J. (Bato) Tindall won the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition for Goodnight, Tyler, which premiered at Alliance Theatre’s Hertz Stage under the direction of Kent Gash, 2019.

B.J. Tindal is a playwright and poet from Philadelphia. BJ has interned at a number of organizations dedicated to the success of early playwrights, including the Goodman Theater, New Dramatists, and Philadelphia Young Playwrights. BJ was also a member of Greenhouse Theater’s Trellis Residency Initiative 2017 – 2018. Their play What We Look Like will have an inaugural production at Oberlin College’s new Irene and Alan Wurtzel Theater in February 2019.
